London Stadium

London Stadium had an urgent need to replace their Staff Security Entrance building which was a temporary building and provided little protection from the elements. The design of the building was a priority so that it complemented the state-of-the-art multi-use stadium that is home to West Ham United, UK Athletics, Major League Baseball, concerts and many more memorable sporting and arts events.

Modulek was approached by the client after seeing the quality of buildings completed at other Premier League clubs and sporting sites.
A new security building was needed adjacent to the stadium. Off-site construction was a perfect solution to minimise disruption and provide a rapid build schedule.

The Building

The design brief was for turnstiles, office space, W/C and kitchen facilities.
A turnkey solution meant that as foundations were put in place on site, off-site construction commenced ensuring for a quick and smooth installation process.
With security an important specification, roller shutters were fitted and state of the art security systems.
A full array of solar panels on the new roof supplies power for the internal lighting system within the building and feeds back any excess energy to the stadium.
As well installing the eight module building, Modulek supplied tarmac ramps to the entrance and exit along with landscaping and site fencing.
To finish the project, Modulek provided brushed stainless steel lettering for London Stadium signage.
