How We Create Your Modular School Buildings
We provide our clients with a step by step start to finish service while keeping them informed every step of the way. Our process to create perfect modular school buildings is simple and well-practised, so we can provide the solution without complication and ensure that the journey from design through to completion is smooth and stress-free.
Here’s more about each step of the process:
1. Planning and design
If you’re serious about investing in our modular school buildings, we’ll ask to meet you so we can discuss what you need from the design of your new construction. We’ll also help with all the planning permissions, and make sure that our design meets your requirements while also appealing to the people who will approve the new building. All of our buildings are designed to meet the strictest of building regulations and we can submit a comprehensive file of documents to the planning department on your behalf.
We can display your designs clearly using the most up-to-date technology, so your plans can be easily presented to various parties. With a clear representation of the designs, we can perfect the finer details of the design before you give us the go-ahead to construct your modular school buildings.
We manufacture all of our modular school buildings in our workshop. We only use the most skilled workers and train any new members of the team to meet our high standards. It is imperative that the plans are followed to the minutest detail, so each module joins together perfectly. We delegate each project a project manager who will ensure that high standards are maintained and drawings are adhered to.
By constructing our modular school buildings off-site, we can minimise disruption and closely monitor each phase so the build happens as smoothly as possible. While our team of skilled construction workers are busy working on the modules, we have a team on-site making sure the ground is fully prepared so that once the modules are ready, everything can be delivered to the site and slipped easily into place.
While the installation process can be complex, we’ll make sure it runs like clockwork. As part of the planning, we’ll make sure that there is suitable site access so the specialist heavy haulage lorries can deliver each module easily. We’ll also need the site to be accessible to cranes, which will be essential in fitting the building together. Once we know that groundwork and necessary preparation have been completed, we’ll start to bring the modules on-site, ensuring we carry out each task in line with the health and safety guidelines instated from our prior risk assessment.
By the time we have finished the construction, everything will have been constructed including:
- Base preparation and foundations
- Service connections to water, gas, electricity, etc
- Drainage connections to foul and surface water
- Access/escape ramps or steps
- Fire alarm linking to existing buildings
- Data installations
- Furniture and fittings (if required)
4. Finishing touches
Once your modular school buildings have been constructed, we’ll turf the chosen areas and tarmac the playground and car park so the project is completely finished. We can also add pathways and playground areas, disabled facilities and ramp access so your new modular school buildings are ready for when the kids come back.
